Kośa is the sheath, the scabbard, the case made to fit the thing it holds. It is also the word for a treasury — a container that takes its shape from its contents.

The Kosa planters run vertical flutes the full height of a form. The flute is the whole of the detail. It draws the eye up, narrows the apparent width, and lets an object take height without taking floor.
