Āṅgan is the courtyard at the centre of a house — open to the sky, enclosed by the rooms around it, the ground everything else is arranged against.

The Aangan planters are made as sets. Small vessels meant to be read together rather than singly, whether they are held to a shared tray or set loose across a surface. The arrangement is part of the object, and where you place them is the last of the making.
