Collection: Kora

Kora is cloth as it comes off the loom — undyed, unbleached, finished by nothing but the weaving. The word stands for a thing complete without decoration.

The Kora objects carry no cut and no band. Open compartments in a plain frame, walls thick enough to see and to feel. The only detail is proportion: how the walls sit against the wells, and how the whole sits on a surface.
